The Science Behind The Product

The Science Behind the Product

Dr. Vaclav Vetvicka, from the University of Louisville, has authored over 190 peer-reviewed publications, 6 textbooks, holds five international patents, and has researched Beta Glucan extensively for over 20 years.

Dr. Vetvicka writes in his latest book, “Beta Glucan: Nature’s Secret”:

In Japan, glucan is already licensed as a drug effective in cancer treatment.   P. 37

Glucan will help protect you against cancer and many other illnesses  that would normally be eradicated by a strong immune system.  Glucans are the most significant anti-cancerous immunostimulant that we are aware of.   It would certainly be a good idea for cancer patients to take glucan as they may find their cancer regresses or stops progressing.  P. 43

Studies showed patients who received glucan had significantly less infections, had a decrease in the use of antibiotics, and a shorter stay in ICU. P. 46

Glucans were shown to reduce the total and LDL cholesterol levels.   P. 49

Japan evaluated glucan’s possible effect in preventing the development of diabetes and insulitis.  P. 52

Glucan was repeatedly shown to increase the wound healing ability of skin. P. 55

Glucans significantly lowered toxicity.  P. 60

Glucan significantly reduced periodontal bone loss.   P. 61

Glucan was found to have additional use in the regulation of stress.   P. 62

It is important to note  that glucan has significant antioxidant properties. P. 62

Studies even suggest that glucan might control blood pressure.  P. 68

Beta Glucan benefits anyone who wants to be healthier, live longer, deal with stress, be less allergenic, speed up healing and resist the infectious microbes, bacteria and viruses that seem to be everywhere.   The major reason to take glucan is to enhance your immune system.  P. 78

Vaclav Vetvicka, Ph.D., is Professor of Pathology in the Department of Pathology of the University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. He graduated from Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, with an advanced degree in biology and obtained his Ph.D. from the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences. His postgraduate training included a stay at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Oklahoma City, and at the Institute of Microbiology, Prague, Czech Republic. His main area of research interest focuses on the development of natural immunomodulators.

In addition to the glucan research, Dr. Vetvicka helped to launch glucan in several countries including USA, France, Turkey and Czech Republic. Dr. Vetvicka is author and co-author of more than 190 peer-reviewed publications, seven books and five international patents

Beta Glucan: Nature’s Secret

In Dr. Vaclav Vetvicka’s book “Beta Glucan: Nature’s Secret, Dr. Vetvicka provides much information on Beta Glucan and we will try to provide some of that information for your use and possible decision making process to begin using Beta 1, 3D Glucan in the very near future and possibly even joining our company.  Either way enjoy this information.

Natural products useful in preventing or treating disease have been highly sought after throughout human history. Polysaccharides in general, and beta glucan in particular, have a long history as immunomodulators. While polysaccharides have been used for decades in several countries to fight cancer and to stimulate the defense system, only in recent years have they become the focus of intensive studies.
Since the first direct scientific studies, countless animal and human trials have shown remarkable anti tumor activity against a wide range of different tumors including breast, lung, and gastrointestinal cancer.

In Japan, beta glucan is already licensed as an immunostimulant effective in cancer treatment. Two types of beta glucan have been used successfully since the 1980s as traditional medicine for cancer therapy in Japan and China. In addition, numerous clinical trials are currently under way, both in the United States and in several European countries.

However, beta glucan has much more to offer and can be beneficial against:

• Chronic diseases

• Irradiation and/or chemotherapy

• Infectious diseases

• High cholesterol

• Diabetes

• Wound healing

• Nonspecific stimulation of defense reactions

Tomorrow we will discuss areas that Beta Glucan has been shown and proven to work.
