Dreams – What Are Yours?

What is your dream?  Have you thought about this lately?  Well we all have them and it is time to do a little housework and dust them off.

You know we all get caught up in the day-to-day activities, the kids and their games, thinking about mowing the yard or doing work in the flower beds, the overhead of life in general.  Well we normally forget to seek out our dreams in all of these activities.

We have dreams, every one of us.  Mine is traveling with my wife on the water up and down the Intracoastal Waterway, up and down the Mississippi River on my awesome yacht. And, yes you have one too.  You’ve probably have had it since childhood.

But everyday day-to-day activities steps in and, BANG just like that the dreams are busted and you have moved them to the rear of your thoughts.  You still have the dreams, but you just don’t have time for them right now.  And before we know we have grown older and all the “activities” have covered them up. Are you there?

Your dreams are still there, they are just buried. Well I am here to tell you, it is time to dust them off and bring them back to your thought process. A dream is like a goal, you must have it in front of you so you keep your momentum moving in the direction of fulfillment. Occasionally you will connect with them, if only just for a second. You will see something or will have a thought of a long time ago. Your dream comes back to you, even if just for a moment. If you are not continuing to pursue your dream you have a deep regret. Then something activities come along and it’s gone again.

It is time to get a shovel and dig those dreams out of the depths of our minds and bring them back for good. What is life without dreams or goals? Don’t live someone else’s dreams!

Restart Your Life can help you fulfill your dreams if you will just make a little time and move forward with the tools that are provided.  Our corporate staff work hard everyday coming up with new ideas to help you build your business. They are spending the $$ to make you $$ and almost ALL of it is being provided free of charge!  Do you know of many other companies that do this, and especially being a newly launched company? The majority of them nickel and dime you to death for every little improvement and change their marketing plan to take away money rather than add to it.

Now is the time with RYL to make your dreams come true, so dig down deep and connect with your dreams again.  After all doesn’t dreams make the life more enjoyable?  Have a dream and you’ll have a life that’s full and rewarding.

Daily Committment To Improve 1%

Are you ready to learn the true secret to success? Success in anything: business, health, relationships, education — anything you desire. Success can be yours. You can be a winner today if you will simply take the time to learn and appreciate this one critical secret. It is a secret shared by all the successful people in the world.

The secret of success is. . . . .

There is no secret!

There is no secret to success. The way to success is there for all to see. It is not hidden in some obscure formula, something you can buy in a “special report” for only $49.95. Many people would like to think that such a thing exists, and many people spend lots of time and money trying to find a shortcut to success. The sad thing is, in the time they’ve spent looking for a shortcut, they could probably have already achieved success if they had just made the commitment at the outset to pay their dues.

So many people try so hard to make it big. But making it big is very, very difficult. It doesn’t happen very often. That’s why, when it happens, you hear about it. It’s big news. But you don’t hear about the millions of times people try to make it big and don’t.

What we should be spending our time and effort doing is making it little. It’s easy to do. Anyone can make a little improvement in what they are doing. And if you put your efforts into consistent, little improvements, soon they will add up and you will indeed have made it big. Try to make it big and you will spin your wheels; try to make little improvements and you will soon make it big.

Let’s say you make your goal to improve your performance by 1% each day. That’s easy, isn’t it. If you spent an hour and a half on the phone today, calling people about your opportunity, then spend an hour and 31 minutes tomorrow. If you sent out 250 mailings last week, send out 253 this week. If you made $100 today, aim for $101 tomorrow. That’s just one dollar more — what could be so hard about that? Go yourself one better — one percent better, that is. The secret is being dedicated and consistent about it. Soon, your efforts will compound as you begin improving on the improvements. If you try to earn 1% more each day, in just a little more than two months you will have doubled your income. And it just gets better and better as time goes on.

In six months, you will have increased your income 600%. In a year, if you were originally making $100 a day, you will be making more than $1.3 million a year simply by improving yourself by 1% per day. Let’s carry this to the extreme and say you were actually able to continue to improve your income, just 1% per day, for a second year. At the end of the second year your income would be more than $52 million a year!

Maybe that’s realistic, maybe it’s not. There are people who earn that kind of money. Did they just get lucky? I don’t think so. They got there by constant improvement, by refusing to accept things as they are, by dedicated and consistent effort.

But the point isn’t whether or not you can earn $52 million a year. (And by the way, if you truly believe you can, you can.) The point is this. If you commit to continuous growth and improvement, if you implement a long-term, focused strategy, you will succeed in doing whatever it is you set about to accomplish. So what if you don’t improve your 1% every single day. If you have that as your goal, then chances are that at the very least, you will not slide backward. At the very least, you will continue to stay even every day, to put forth the effort to reach your goals.

The Heart Of The Matter – Perseverance

The Heart Of The Matter
by Joyce Cordell, Co-Founder of RYL

Often, when someone is very successful and it appears on the surface that they perform without effort, what you fail to see are the hundreds or even thousands of “pre-success” hours that created that sense of ease. If you get  impatient and move around too much, or keep changing companies because you get bored or itchy for success, you may be quitting too early. You may not have given your opportunity adequate time to develop your skills and learn the ropes.

Anyone can be successful in RESTART YOUR LIFE but many people fail to give it a fair try. If they have one or more disappointments early on, they allow their fear or impatience to enter into the equation and they’re on to something else. In a nutshell, they quit too early. They lack perseverance. Instead of saying, “This is going to take some time and work and I’m going to do what it takes,” they believe that there is something out there that is going to be much easier. There isn’t. Any new venture that is destined for success is going to take work and perseverance. If it didn’t, your success wouldn’t be as rewarding.

We all know people who need to have healthy working immune systems and more money at the end of the   month. The corporate staff is here to help you achieve your dreams and goals. We are in the “persevering” business with you!

Can You Handle The Heat?

Folks we are so honored to have permission from Allison Lamarr of Phoenix, AZ.  Allison was the highest paid distributor within another network marketing company and was the earliest million dollar earner in this company. She has provided permission to reprint an article that she wrote earlier this month and I really felt that it was so good that I wanted to provide it for all of you.  So please enjoy this article:

Today I’d like to talk about a recent personal experience of mine, and how it’s got me thinking about the bigger picture of our desired results.  Some of you are aware that my family just moved to Phoenix.  In the middle of the summer.  In the desert.  Now, don’t get me wrong…this place is gorgeous, and I’ve heard it’s one of the best places on earth to live about 10 months out of the year.  Several people have told me that if we can just survive these first couple of months then we will be in heaven after that.  I honestly didn’t think too much of it.  Being from Texas, I thought I was prepared for the heat…but I quickly learned that nothing can truly prepare you for 118 degree days.  The air is so hot and dry it’s like being wrapped in a warm blanket immediately when you step outside, while an invisible vacuum simultaneously sucks all of the air out of your body.  I got here a few weeks before James did, and I had to laugh at his Twitter post the first day he arrived.  It read, “Just got to Phoenix…let me know if you need anything from the surface of the sun.”

I was immediately reminded of the old saying, “If you can’t take the heat, get out of the kitchen.”  Of course, the proverbial kitchen is where all of the action takes place – it’s where the magic happens.  No one really wants to miss out on the excitement, but few people can hang with the heat long enough to experience the glorious payoff.

Why do kids quit music lessons or sports activities when they’re young?  Usually, it’s because they don’t want to invest the time in practicing.  In other words, they can’t take the heat.

Why as adults do we quit diet and exercise programs?  Because we don’t like the discipline, otherwise known as…we can’t take the heat.

Why do we finish less than half of the new projects we start?  Because the excitement wears off, and we lose our resolve to follow-through.  We can’t take the heat.

I’ve noticed the exact same phenomenon in my chosen industry.  As I’ve shared with you before, direct sales is like personal growth on steroids.  Lots of people come and go, but to really create long-term, sustainable success, your character development must precede the performance that drives the results you desire.  It’s a refining process that can absolutely transform you into the person you were born to be, but you must be willing to endure the melting heat of the furnace.  Refining does not come from listening to good speeches or reading great books. It comes from being exposed to difficult situations and enduring affliction.

Spouting theory won’t work – people will see right through it.  True, lasting growth only comes from standing in the mirror and being willing to do two things.  First, embrace ALL of yourself…the good, the bad, and the ugly.  Acknowledge who you are – the parts you do like and the parts you’re not so proud of.  Then second, we must take ownership of the refining process.  Be willing to submit to the furnace and stick out the heat so that your character can come out on the other side as pure gold.  Keep in mind, it’s much, much easier to turn and walk away from the mirror, quickly forgetting what you saw, than it is to humble yourself and step into the refiner’s fire.  That, my friends, is one hot kitchen.

Why is enduring the heat a necessary requirement for long-term success in the direct sales industry?  There are many reasons, but I’ll highlight a few of them here:

1.     You’re your own boss – There is no built-in accountability, so you must discipline yourself and have the hunger and initiative to drive and lead yourself with no externally imposed deadlines or checks and balances.

2.     You’re in the people business – It’s often said that people are the best and worst part of the business.  We must learn to work with personalities of all types, from all backgrounds, philosophies, and walks of life.

3.     Your biggest competition is life itself – People are busy.  We’re all slightly A.D.D. in today’s world.  I quickly learned that my competitors weren’t really another brand…I was competing with my prospect’s busy schedules and just fighting for a few minutes of the time they didn’t think they had, so I had to find creative, innovative ways to set myself apart, create demand, and add lasting value to their life.

4.     You’re leading a volunteer army – The people following you can pack up and leave anytime they want to.  If they don’t like you, they won’t do business with you.  They don’t have to – they can take their business elsewhere.  You must decide if you’re more concerned about being right or swallowing your pride to find a win-win solution that’s workable for everyone.

5.     “Winging it” won’t work – Just trying to skim by without mastering the necessary skills will leave you broke and desperate very quickly.  This isn’t an arena where you can fake your competency or charm your way to the top.  Charisma may get you so far, but to really have staying power, you’ve got to roll up your sleeves and do the hard work of developing your skills, learning your product or service, building a solid network, working through enough people to find the ones who truly want change, developing the quality of perseverance through enduring disappointments, rising above all drama and mediocrity, then empowering the people around you to do the same thing.

The truth is that these principles can apply to your life’s goals whether you’re in direct sales or not.  So, just remember…ALL great things in life require some sort of investment before the payoff comes.  Whether you’re trying to finish school, pass a test, earn a promotion, lose excess weight, get in shape, rebuild your financial situation, or just totally reinvent yourself, you’re stronger than you think you are.  You can handle the heat.  Yes, it’s gonna get hot.  Yes, you’re gonna sweat…A LOT.  Yes, you may even get burned.  But the fire will not consume you…it will melt away the impurities and transform you into the person God created you to be.  So, go ahead.  Walk into that kitchen and submit to the heat.  Your life is waiting on the other side!

Little Mind – Huge Thought!

In the original Star Wars that I saw so many years ago in the movie house. In the movie Yoda is talking, it is now one of the most famous lines from the movie. I do not think it was intended to be, yet it struck a cord at a deep level.

“Do or do not… there is no try.”

Isn’t it like that? People come to me and tell me why they failed. It could be this business of MLM or any business. They failed. There are many reasons for it. But many, far too many blame outside forces for what should squarely be on them.
We are here to succeed. That is why we do something. If you have a setback, so what! Every venture worth having will have setbacks. Everyone. If life and success were easy, everyone could have it.

Today my note is on being a doer. Doers get the jobs done. May not be perfect, may even be wrong. But I would rather have a doer that does a few things wrong from time to time and get things done. Nothing happens if you do nothing. If we are afraid to venture out, to not grow, to not make mistakes. WE LOSE,  and our families. And our future business partners. And we get old and as the saying goes “the music is still in us”.

Today decide to be a player, a doer, the man, the woman that gets the job done. Say it,

It feels good, Yes? Your life can be much more rewarding to you if you just say this over and over and then do it. Words proceed Action. If we speak out what we are going to do before we do it, it has power.

This is true. God talks about the power of words. If you have ever read the story of David and Goliath, then you see both men speaking, one (Goliath) says “why are they sending a runt to fight”. But David tells Goliath what he plans to do, and who has the power and authority. He basically tells Goliath that he plans to kill him, and he does.

Do it for a month, your life will change.

God Bless!

International Space Station Comes Together

Building your Restart Your Life business is a little like the building of the International Space Station (ISS).

It has taken much time to construct the ISS, it is not something that just happened overnight or within a few months.  But patience must be exercised in the process.

If we continue to build and talk about what the effects this product (Beta 1, 3-D Glucan) and the opportunity has in each of our lives and those of everyone we come into contact with, we will be building RYL the same as the ISS was built, “One step at a time”.

In 2 possibly 3 years down the road we will be a huge company and providing a wealth of income to those that have had the patience.  Do you realize the potential income from just the “Founder’s Pool”?  It is going to be one of the biggest pools drawn from by those that have attained the requirement before August 31st of this year. If you haven’t figured this out then please go to the “Video” page of this blog and watch Keith Reid’s video on the Founder’s Pool.

Now click on the picture below and enjoy the building of the ISS as much as I did and while watching think about this being RYL!  Give your thoughts/comments regarding the building of RYL and the benefits you see in the growth.

Just click on the picture…………….
