|Example of Normal Bone Matrix vs Osteoporosis Matrix|

You have heard it said before, “Anything worth having is worth fighting for.”
In the national news this week we see the 99% “fighting” via public protest, for jobs and economic fairness. The fathers of our great nation fought for freedom. Even in the Bible we read that God’s chosen people had to fight to go into and possess the “Promised Land.”
In my normal enthusiastic zeal, it is easy for me to share my genuine heartfelt beliefs and convictions about Restart Your Life. We have life changing products and a life changing income opportunity. I am thoroughly convinced we have the best of both. Not only within our industry, but I believe it would be next to impossible to find a better business opportunity anywhere. But just the same, “This Ain’t No Picnic!” So you must remember, anything worth having is worth fighting for.
There is hardly a person on the planet, short of a transplant patient, who would not benefit from Beta Glucan; Enfamil even includes it in a premium line of Baby Formulas. And with the high levels of both unemployment and underemployment, there are millions who desperately need our financial opportunity. The problem is many of them don’t know they need our business because many of them don’t understand our business. But that is a gigantic opportunity for me and you.
Often someone achieves noteworthy success, and prior to that success they were operating below our radar. There is a natural tendency to think of them as an “over-night sensation;” to imply that their success was easy. But almost always we come to learn there was a lot of hard work involved. In other words, their success didn’t just happen; they fought to make it happen. In some ways the same is going to be true of me and you here in RYL. Even with the best products, the best compensation plan and great marketing tools, we are going to have to fight our fears of rejection, fight the negativity of broke brother-in-laws (who want to give you advice on how to make money), fight our own reluctances to step outside of our personal comfort zones, and face-down any other enemy that is trying to hold you back. Just remember this, the fight is worth it. “This Ain’t No Picnic,” but if you press forward and refuse to give in or give up, you will be victorious. This is your business and fighting for it is part of the price you pay for success. It might take you more than 90 days or nine months, but my good friend, Jack Grossman tells me that even if you only enroll one IMD per month, and you encourage those you enroll, and the ones they enroll (and so on) to do the same; then you can fill up a full 3 x 9 matrix in only 27 months! Since each person in your matrix represents at least $1.00 per month in income, you have the potential to earn $29,523 per month in only 27 months! What job could YOU get right now that will equal this opportunity?
This is worth fighting for and my title is very correct (even though the grammar is poor), “This Ain’t No Picnic,” it’s really more like breakfast at Tiffany’s, lunch at 30,000 feet over the Atlantic, and dinner in Paris!
Jeremiah 33:9 says, (if you return to me and keep my covenant) others will look with awe and tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for you.
God loves you and so do I,
Master Distributor, RYL
If you have taken the time to read my “About Me” page then you will know that I have been doing this business now, off & on, since the mid 1970’s. I have been in many different companies and continue today to work only one business at a time.
The one thing I really like about this type of business, other than the excellent income if you really work it, is the fact that “YOU CAN DO THIS BUSINESS ANYWHERE!”. I know I just shouted that comment, but this is actually one of the reasons I do like this business. (I know that this photo is a little to the extreme, but really, is it?.)
When the wife and I were on our way home from the Launch Conference of Restart Your Life in Lexington, S.C., we took a side trip through the mountains of North Carolina. They are so beautiful and make you want to move there. At any rate, we were vacationing on the way home.
I pulled into a service station to get gas. While pumping gas into our vehicle I struck up a conversation with a gentleman and before it was all over I used my iPhone to sign him up as a new distributor and he is still on auto-ship today. He was from Chicago and now is residing in the Atlanta, GA area.
So as you can see you CAN do this business from just about anywhere. Also it never hurts to strike up a conversation with someone you don’t even know. That conversation can lead to more than just a casual conversation.
Another incident like this happened this morning. I received an email from someone that was suggesting that I listen to some of the music he had written. Well, when I clicked on the link, I found that his domain name had expired. I called to let him know, because once lost it can never be gotten again. He thanked me, I explained that I did hosting of web sites, etc.
He ended up calling me back and we got to talking about this and also about what I was doing on the side to make additional income. He was provide my RYL web site and has indicated that he will seriously look into it and already had about a dozen or more people that he wanted to talk to about this opportunity and product. Come to find out he is a “networker” and also has worked other companies. See you never know who you are talking to and what it could mean to your business.
Just open up and don’t be afraid to say hello or strike up a conversation – it could always lead to bigger and better things!

What will tomorrow be like? Well, that’s a very good question. The answer depends primarily on what you do today. Tomorrow will be like… whatever you plan and work for it to be. The same goes for next week, next month, next year, and so on.
If you don’t really have a plan, then tomorrow will be left to chance. You’ll drift along with whatever comes by. There’s nothing wrong with that, if you like drifting. But if you want more direction, if you have something you’d like to do, or be, or have tomorrow, then you need to start planning and working for it today.
Here’s something to remember — the further ahead you plan, the more control you have. Take, for example, flying on a commercial airline. If you show up at the airport, with no ticket, 30 minutes before the flight is leaving, you’ll be lucky just to get a seat, and you’ll pay the airline’s highest fare. If, however, you plan your trip 3 months in advance, you get your choice of seat, you can often even choose your in-flight meal, and you can probably get a substantial discount on the fare.
Why do airlines reward you for planning ahead? Because it enables them to plan ahead and to allocate their resources in the most efficient and effective manner. Why should you plan ahead in all areas of your life? Same reason — so you can make the very most of what you have.
Think ahead. What will be happening in 3 months, 6 months, 2 years? You’ll have to deal with the details eventually, so why not start dealing with them now? Planning ahead always gives you more options, plus you’ll get more for the money or effort involved.
What can you do today to make tomorrow go more smoothly? What can you do today to make next week more productive? How can you act today to make your life better one month from now? Or 6 months from now? Or 5 years? Think about it. And get started today, right now, on a better tomorrow.

There are so many quotes regarding the importance of failure in being successful, but imho, this is the best. We ALL fail from time to time and the more you fail the more likely you are to succeed.
As long that is, you don‟t drag your bottom lip around on the floor all the time bemoaning the fact that things aren‟t going your way. Suck it up and move on.
Do you remember why and/or when you were introduced to Network Marketing, and when you joined your very first company? Was it a good experience? Was it a bad experience? Think about the answers and what created those answers, then read on.
My experience and exposure was back in the mid-1970s. My reasons were the same as most people that get into this business. I needed to make extra money, but didn’t want to work the 9-5. I wanted to work flexible hours, be home with the kids, attend their activities, take holidays when we wanted, and be available to volunteer for our local fire department, in other words I wanted FREEDOM.
I saw a newspaper ad: “Make $5000.00/month returning phone calls.” I love talking on the phone. $5000.00 a month was great. It sounded easy. That is the day my network marketing began.
But guess what? It wasn’t that easy. Network Marketing is like farming. You have to seed before you harvest. It takes time for that seed to grow. But with cultivation, care, rain, and sunshine there will be a harvest.
I joined several companies, spent a lot of money on leads and advertising. I struggled for a year. I didn’t know how to train people who joined me. I didn’t know how to mentor, motivate or lead a team.
After many years I learned how to evaluate a company, how to be a critical thinker, how to generate my own leads for free, how to call leads, how and where to advertise, personal development, how to identify my prospects by personality.
Best of all, I finally found an upline person who said “he’d believe in me until I believed in myself”; it gave me hope that I could be successful. This was several companies, later in life and I finally was able to get on a winning team and learn and cultivate what I needed to do to be successful.
To have the harvest I want in MLM, I needed to get the weeds out of my mind. That negativity and low self-esteem had to go. I learned to paint new pictures in my mind, of who I wanted to be, and what success looks like to me. Now I speak my future into reality. It takes focus and persistence and faith. You have to believe it before you can see it. I know that if you plant corn, you will harvest corn. And if you plant good seeds in your mind by reading good books and getting together with like-minded positive people, then you will reap a great harvest.
Network Marketing is not about the money – it’s about people. Build people and then the people will build the business. Even if we would never make any money in this business, we’re growing and becoming the people we were meant to be, and we’re helping others grow into leaders.

As sports seasons shift, it’s tough to escape the buzz about how various teams are doing, whether they’re starting the season or bringing it to a close. Like sports teams with legacies for winning, businesses can create an environment compelling enough to attract – and keep – the top talent in their industry. While that culture gets set from the top down, it is the talent of the team – not any individual player – that drives the group to success.
Retaining your top direct selling talent benefits your company through both leadership and a lasting institutional memory, and especially in today’s economy, a stable job benefits your star employees. But how do you get them to stay? Here are a few ways Harvard Business Review recommends to keep your top talent:
Trust the team – Each member of your team brings a unique set of strengths to the table. Give them opportunities to put these to work and do what they do best.
Make connections – Take the time each day to build that one-on-one relationship with each member, checking in personally and professionally (avoiding private or sensitive topics unless the team brings them up, of course).
Respect individuality – Remember that each team member’s needs vary from his or her peers. Assignments, benefits and praise should be tailored to the individual’s needs and personality.
